My grandfather James William Bridle was born in Arklow in 1862 but the church records have been destroyed. His Rebecca was born in 1864 and baptised in Kilbride Church where the parish register has survived. The father another James William Bridle (Born Launceston 1835), a coastguard and his wife Ellie lived in Ferrybank, Arklow. Woulf this coastguard station been in Ferrybank? Carole
