i am researching local history with a view to publishing. i am endeavouring to collate a list of coastguard personnel who served in bunbeg.\should anyone wish to assist me i would appreciate the help. A g.g.uncle of mine richard evans served in bunbeg coastguards. Approx 1880. We are also looking info and would be very grateful for same m.a |

Welcome to the Forum Mary. I'm assuming you are looking for information on the man, not the CG Station? If so, if you know his date and place of birth your best beat is to purchase his service record from the National Archives website (link below) http://www.nation...seamen.htm Depending when he joined the navy, there may be two service records, one pre the other post 1873.
