William Thomas

Further to my message of 30 October 2007, I would like to ask again for help in finding any baptisms or deaths for William's family. I now know, thanks to the downloading of the establishment books from the National Archives that William was posted to Ballycotton on 12 March 1834 and left there for St Ives on 15 November 1836. Two of his children were born around that time, Frederick who gave his place of birth as Cork, although he was baptised in Mylor, Cornwall on 4 October 1835, and Agatha, who gave her age in the various censuses giving a d.o.b. of circa 1832/3. I can't find her baptism. William's wife Emily was obviously alive at the time of Frederick's birth, but she had died by the time of the 1841 census. I should be grateful if anyone could tell me whether any church records survive for this area and around this time period. I thought I had read somewhere that they no longer exist.
