Hi, My late husband's Great Grandfather Robert Caddye was also based at Bunbeg circa 1897 / 1900. There is a death of one of the children recorded on 10/03/1897 Alfred Henry Caddye aged 7 mths and he is buried in the little graveyard across from the Church of Ireland in Bunbeg . There is also a birth recorded in Aug 1900 of A H Caddye in Bunbeg . This child was obviously called after the child who died .. I hope this is of some help to you . I have done a lot of research on this family . The eldest child of this family was my husband's grandfather who was born in 1882 at Fenit in Kerry . He married a lady from Letterkenny and when their only son was 3 years old he left for USA and never returned . Regards Ann Caddye |
