Good afternoon all, This is my first post as a new member. I am a keen collector of HM Customs & Excise memorabila, having worked in this service for some 36 years. Since the UK Coastguard was closely linked to Customs in the past, I am interested in finding out how many designs of Coastguard cap badges there have been over the years, and if there are any sources of reference, with photographs. If anyone has any information I would love to hear from you. |

The MCA has kindly sent me their current Uniform Catalogue which illustrates uniform and cap badges currently being worn by the CG service. Does anyone have any images, badges relating to earlier times? Any help would be appreciated!  |
