For info on this family see: http://www.rootsc...083.0.html I can now provide you with a little more information re Isaac(2), because on 21 July 1843 he was issued with his Seamen's Ticket (No. 74.133) in Cork. On this his place and year of birth are confirmed, but it also provides a physical description: 5' 8'' tall, auburn hair, dark compexion, hazel eyes; he first went to sea as a 2nd Class Boy in 1840, and at the time the ticket was issued he was a Mariner on the Revenue Cruiser Wickham based at Killibegs.
