I just received my great grandfathers service record. It says he was on the Vanguard stationed at Clandeboye from Jan 1875 to July 1878. An article on the Vanguard said it sank in 1875. What does the service record mean? The article also said the Coastguards of Yesteryear had the crew list. How can I view that list? |
