Just a little add on to previous message. We have decided we cant part with the medals. But I'm still trying to find out that if he did while in the Coast Guard service on Gunns Island would he perhaps be buried there and if so how could I find out for sure. He also had another son names William born about a year before he died. William appears on the 1901 census but I've lost him after that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I'm pleased that you have decided not to sell the medals, they are always best kept by the family. Martin |
