Hi Sometime ago Tony was good enough to provide the details of my GGG Grandfather's death in Ireland in 1838. I've since seen the ADM record relating to this and at the end of the entry there is a file number - 4241. Would anyone know what these files are and if they're accessible to the general public? Regards SteveJ |

Hi Steve It would help if you could provide your GGG Grandfathers name and if possible the ADM ref. Martin |

Hi Steve I'm afraid I don't know the answer to this one. My first thought was that this related back to his original nomination number, but a check of the nominations book in ADM 175/78 disproved this theory. The only other thought was that this relates to correspondence that is now in ADM 6/199, but this may be a long shot, and could be a complete waste of time. Regards Martin |
