I trying to find my gg grandfather William Bond. I know he was stationed in Leestone, Kilkeel, C0 Down in 1878. As this is where my g grandmother Lucy Bond was born. Her elder brother also William Bond was born in Annalong in 1877. I was able to find his seaman service records online, but i cannot identify any relating to my GG grandfather as i don't know his year of birth. i know he was married to a Margaret Simms (syms). He doesn't seem to appear in any of the navy Lists on this site. any pointers for where i should go next? regards Lynn |

i've just found my gg grandfather, through the seamans records, he was born 1843 in Dunmore, Co. Waterford. service no. 50556. i was able to cross reference where he was when heis children were born. |
