Above Jimmy Smyth was my Grandfathers cousin who fished with his father as longline man aboard thefamily fishing vessel "The Jane"during 1920s With his father James Coxwain he had distinguished service on the Newcastle Life boats 1 Marianne 2 John Cleland between 1916 and 1932 Upon joining Coast guard in1932 had to leave Lifeboat Service Newsof his Coastguard career welcome jcassells76 jac
