Isaac was born in Dorset in 1806. He joined the Coastguard in 1833, being first posted to Westbrook. He was then sent to Shingle End in 1836, Beer in 1837, Shorne Cliffe in 1842, Littlestones in 1843 and finally in 1844, he went to Dunny Cove, Co Cork, IRE. He was discharged in 1865. I'm looking for any information about any of these Coastguard stations. Where they were situated, what sort of boats were used etc. Gail |
