1863. Fowey (2)

This is to Certify that Mr. J. D. Switzer Master R. N. has served under my command at the Coast Guard Station Fowey, from the 20^th December 1862 to the date hereof, during which time he has carried out his duties in a zealous & efficient manner & is remarkably steady & sober.

Given under my hand this 20^th August 1863 at Fowey.
